  • Fully lined with 10oz natural canvas. Features a lightweight aluminum frame that allows the dopp kit to clasp completely. Leather bottom & buckle closure made from medium brown oil tanned cowhide.

    Maker's Story

    Somerville, Massachusetts
    In 2007 founder Alice Saunders was a college student living with eight people in an apartment that happened to have a sewing machine in the attic. Combining her love for history, textiles and flea markets, she began constructing durable tote bags out of reclaimed fabrics with a timeless aesthetic. Alice put her heart and passion into her designs, resulting in Forestbound bags. Her designs have won numerous awards, including 2018 Best Bag Designer by Boston Magazine. Today, the bags are still hand sewn by Alice and with each is the hope that it will accompany you for many years, creating new stories everywhere you take them.
